Customer Comment - Excellent service. AWR did exactly what they said they would do. had all 4 of my OEM audi s-line wheels fully refurbished. they were in a pretty sorry condition, each wheel suffering lots of corrosion and blistering with varying amounts of kerb damage too.
AWR were very open and honest about what they could realistically achieve and what to expect, but also which paint finish would be most durable, thickest and best for covering previous corrosion damage. they explained step by step what they'd do to the wheels (powder coated rims with matching wet painted centre caps), how long they'd need them (overnight) and what it would all cost. they only needed the wheels for 2 days but left them with AWR for the week. when i picked the wheels up they looked fantastic, so much better than i expected. nice even colour and paint finish (gun metal) and the painted centre caps matched nicely too. it was impossible to tell which wheel needed welding to repair the kerbing. and they did a great job of flatting back all the pitting from the previous blistering.
At £265 all in for tyres off, blasting, repairing inc. welding, acid dipping, powder coating, baking, tyres refitted and balanced. very much recommended. wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
